My two siblings and I spent one school week working with the students, teachers, and staff of Manos Unidas. In our time there, we were able to witness first hand the time, care, and dedication that is delivered to each individual student. We were inspired by the opportunities that were given to students and the progress that they were making as a result.

As volunteers, we greatly enjoyed acknowledging donors to the organization by writing their names on the hand print wall at Camino Nuevo. We also loved helping out with planting the vegetable garden at Camino Nuevo. Our only complaint about volunteering with Manos Unidas was that our time there was too short. I speak for all three of us when I say that we would love to come back someday to give more back to the organization that gives so much to the Cusco community.
