Manos Unidas Youth have spent the month of October participating in a variety of activities with San Francisco Asis students, a private catholic school for boys in Cusco.

Part of the initiative of Cafe Daria is to promote inclusive activities with MU youth and the community. The cafe inspired project began with a hot chocolate making activity with 10 MU youth and 10 SF youth. Then activities like school visits, sports, even cooking classes at the school were scheduled!

More than 80 highschool boys participated in the activities with the 25 MU highschool and young adults including an invitation to their school.

As MU continues to be a segregated special needs school, Cafe Daria opens doors for community inclusion and awareness building activities that would not have been considered before.
